ABOUT
Colwell & Associates, Inc. was founded in 1989 by Michael E. Colwell, P.E., a consulting engineer who has practiced in Texas for over forty years. The Firm provides engineering, design and consulting services for a wide variety of facilities including industrial, utility, commercial, institutional, municipal and government. Project types range from large high voltage substations, T&D systems and generation facilities to process instrumentation and SCADA systems.
Colwell Engineers and Designers work with the client’s or prime consultant’s team to determine the appropriate electrical power and controls system based upon multiple design considerations including cost, reliability, maintainability, operating flexibility and efficiency.
By teaming with established partners, we can offer a wide range of engineering and turn-key solutions which provide our clients with a complete project approach. Our multi-disciplined skills base facilitates the execution of all aspects of a project, from the original planning through design, construction and commissioning.
